A perfect blend of brushed organic cotton and soft bamboo fiber. Our fabric is not only absorbent and breathable, but it has unique cooling properties as well. We also only use non-azo dyes in the production of our product. These gentle “low impact” dyes do not bond or interfere with fish or organic matter in our streams and rivers.Why Organic cotton?
Our products are made only from organic cotton that has been certified by third party Control Union World Group (formerly Skal International). This cotton is grown without the use of harmful fertilizers or pesticides. The processing of conventional cotton uses more chemicals per unit than any other crop grown in the world. The manufacturing of a single cotton T-shirt requires 1⁄4 lbs of toxic chemicals and 500 gallons of water. These chemicals eventually seep through to contaminate our rivers, streams and drinking supply.
Why Bamboo?
Regarded as the “new silk” of the millennium, bamboo is one of the strongest yet softest fibers used today. This renewable resource can grow up to one meter per day without requiring the use of pesticides and fertilizers! Not only is bamboo naturally deodorizing, it’s antibacterial as well. Its breathable and moisture-wicking properties make it comfortable bedding even for the warmest of nights!
